Dr. Krist Joins West Point Children’s Clinic

Dr. keith Krist joins West Point Children's ClinicWEST POINT, Miss.—Pediatrician Keith Krist, M.D., recently joined West Point Children’s Clinic.

Dr. Krist joins Dr. Keith Watson and nurse practitioners Whitt Foster and Jennifer Rigdon at the clinic, which is located at 63 Medical Center Drive. For appointment information, call (662) 494-1620.

Dr. Krist is a 1990 graduate of Frostburg State University in Maryland, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance with a minor in economics. He also attended the University of South Carolina in Aiken and Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he was certified in industrial hygiene, audiology and hearing conservation.

Dr. Krist earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile in 1997, and he completed a pediatric residency there in 2000. He earned a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio in 2018. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Krist served as a pediatrician with White-Wilson Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, for 16 years. During his tenure there, he also served as vice president of the medical group's board of directors. He comes to West Point from Pensacola Pediatrics, where he practiced and also served as executive medical director.

In his free time, Dr. Krist enjoys being outdoors, playing the guitar and great cinema.  When he is not cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins, Dr. Krist finds every opportunity to enjoy his two sons' musical performances.
