Digestive Health Specialists Opens Location in Corinth

CORINTH, Miss.—Digestive Health Specialists recently opened a new location in Corinth.

Corinth native Mary Ellen Mitchell, board-certified nurse practitioner, is the provider. Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of Thursday, when the clinic closes at noon. The clinic is located at 502 Alcorn Drive.

Mitchell graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She received her master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University with summa cum laude honors, ranked first in her graduating class. She joined Digestive Health Specialists in Tupelo in October 2016, and has 16 years of previous gastroenterology experience.
