Internal Medicine Residency Program
North Mississippi Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Residency Program is a great place to start your career in medicine.
Our Internal Medicine Residency Program is located on the campus of our 650-bed rural health care facility in Tupelo, Mississippi, which houses the region’s sole Level II designated trauma center. North Mississippi Health Services is a 2012 recipient of the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, and NMMC, its flagship hospital, is a 2006 Baldrige Award recipient.
The residency space at the main facility includes a large lecture area, multiple conference rooms, resident lounge and state-of-the-art simulation lab.
NMMC’s Internal Medicine Residency Program also operates the Internal Medicine Residency Clinic inside IMA-Tupelo. Patients experience a seamless transition of care through the Internal Medicine Residency Clinic, comprised of 16 exam rooms. Patients are monitored closely by the residents who orchestrated their care while they were previously hospitalized.
NMMC’s Internal Medicine Residency Program accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
