Biography
Dr. Watson received his medical degree from the Texas Tech University Medical Center and completed his internship and pediatric residency at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital in Lexington, Ky. He is a board-certified pediatrician, and was named one of top pediatricians in the U.S. by the Consumer Research Council in 2010.
Dr. Watson says he chose health care because he has always wanted to help people. “I was very convicted in early childhood that God wanted me to be a doctor,” he says. He chose to work at West Point Children’s Clinic because he was “very comfortable with the personnel and facility, and impressed with the people of Mississippi.”
Dr. Watson’s interests include history, motorcycle riding, weight lifting and playing the piano.
