Pam says she chose health care to work with patients to help better their health – not just their physical health but all aspects of the health of the individual. “I want to try to make a positive difference in the lives of those I come in contact with,” she says.
She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a master’s degree in nursing and training in hospice and palliative care. She also holds a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. Employed as a registered nurse at North Mississippi Medical Center since 1979, she is certified in oncology, hospice and palliative care nursing.
She says she chose North Mississippi Medical Clinics because she believes in the mission and vision. “I want to be the best provider I can be in order to provide the best care possible for the people in my region – regardless of gender, creed, religion, color or ability to pay,” she says.
Pam loves to go to the mountains and be in nature. She enjoys working with people and visiting hospice patients.
