Biography
Lakesha Butler, NP-BC, earned her associate degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. She completed her master’s degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She started working at North Mississippi Medical Center in 2004 as a medical technologist in West Point. She says that she appreciates that NMMC offers opportunities for growth, and that she loves her role at the Diabetes Treatment Center.
In her spare time, Butler enjoys traveling, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
