Biography
Rhonda Von Strahl, AGNP, received an associate degree in nursing from Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. She completed a master’s degree in nursing and her Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After becoming an RN, she worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and University of Utah Medical Center. In 1999 she joined the staff at NMMC-Tupelo. In 2015, she was accepted as a Nurse Practitioner Fellow in the NMHS Advanced Practice Clinician Fellowship. She continued in this role until joining Pulmonary Consultants.
Von Strahl says she chose health care because it allows her to benefit other people. “It is a challenging but rewarding career that gives me a great deal of personal gratification,” she says. “I love that every day I have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of people for the better.”
She chose Pulmonary Consultants because she wanted to be part of an organization that strives to improve the health of people in her community.
She enjoys photography, Broadway shows, ballets, reading, sewing, smocking and Ole Miss football.
