Biography
Dr. Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Mississippi and received his medical training from Kansas City University of Medicine. He completed his residency in family and emergency medicine from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine in Jackson. Dr. Brown is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine.
“I grew up with an interest in health care helping my father, a pharmacist, in the pharmacy on weekends,” Dr. Brown says. “My brother is also a pharmacist, and I wanted to work in a different area of health care while using my pharmacy school experience. I chose North Mississippi Medical Clinics because of the ability to work with a health care team whose goal is to be a leader in not only our region but also a leader of quality health care in the nation.”
Dr. Brown is a licensed pilot and enjoys recording and playing music. He also enjoys fencing, riding motorcycles and operating his small batch/craft brewery.
