Biography
Kelli Plunk, MSN, FNP-C, joined Pulmonary Consultants in 2018. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson.
She says she chose to pursue a career in health care because she wanted the opportunity to positively impact people in a direct manner.
“Even as a child, I knew that I wanted the opportunity to support and encourage people, and working in health care has proven to provide that opportunity,” she says. “I am able to interact with my patients and their loved ones as a provider, encourager, advocate, teacher and friend.”
She chose Pulmonary Consultants for her career because her grandmother was a patient at Pulmonary Consultants and was cared for in an extraordinary manner. She decided that she wanted the pleasure of working with this group to hopefully treat and care for others as well as her grandmother was treated.
She enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, target shooting, reading, spending time with her family and cheering on the
Mississippi State Bulldogs.
