Melody Poole
Melody Poole serves as chief quality officer at North Mississippi Health Services. She is responsible for accreditation, infection prevention, performance improvement, quality management, patient safety initiatives, patient and family engagement and medical staff support services.
Poole received her associate degree in nursing from Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville and her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi University for Women. She completed her master’s degree in nursing administration at the University of Alabama at Huntsville.
She is a Certified Joint Commission Professional, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and is a member of MHA Society for Healthcare Quality and American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). She also serves on the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence Panel of Judges.
