Mike Switzer

Mike Switzer serves as vice president of Supply Chain and Support Services for North Mississippi Health Services.

Switzer, who joined NMHS in 2006, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Otterbein College. Switzer was inducted into the Bellwether League in 2015; he was featured as one of the “10 People to Watch for 2009” in the Journal of Healthcare Contracting. He has been published in the International Journal of Six Sigma and Competitive Advantage, the Journal of Healthcare Contracting, Healthcare Purchasing News and various other publications. Switzer received the Patty Bibb Award for Financial Excellence while at Huntsville Hospital in Alabama as well as the Material Management Outstanding Achievement Award while at Columbia/HCA.

Switzer is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Executives, the Spend Management Board and the Strategic Initiative Board of MedAssets, LLC. He is a former member of the Affinity Group for VHA, a former Cubmaster and Scoutmaster, a former officer in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and a Kentucky Colonel.
