Medical Staff
Dee Dee Coker,
M.D., received her bachelor's degree from
Mississippi State University, and her medical
training from Kansas City University of Medicine and
Biosciences, where she was a member of Psi Sigma
Alpha medical honor society. She recently completed
her family medicine residency at the North
Mississippi Medical Center Family Medicine Residency
Center.
Nazia Javed, M.D., completed her medical studies
at King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan.
She completed her family medicine residency at
Phoenix Baptist Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.
John Mitchell, M.D., a board certified
family physician, completed his medical studies at the
University of Mississippi School of Medicine and his
family medicine residency at the University of Alabama
in Tuscaloosa. Dr. Mitchell previously practiced at
Pontotoc Medical Clinic and the NMMC Family Medicine
Residency Center in Tupelo. He completed a primary care
faculty development fellowship at Michigan State
University. Dr. Mitchell is certified in Occupational
Health Practice Management by the National Association
of Occupational Health Professionals. He is also certified by
the FAA to do class II and class III flight physicals.
Dr. Mitchell is is a member of the American College of
Occupational and Environmental Medicine and is a
certified Medical Review Officer.
Aarthur Rogers, CFNP, received his nursing degree
and family nurse practitioner training from Mississippi
University for Women in Columbus. He is a member of the
Mississippi Nurses Association.
Dorthia Walters, CFNP, received an associate's
degree in nursing from Itawamba Community College in
Fulton and completed her nurse practitioner training at
Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
Office Hours
Our occupational medicine clinic is open Monday through
Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for industrial clients.
