Medical Staff

Ronald E. Powell, D.O., a board-certified family practice physician, completed his medical training at Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine and his internship at Mount Clemens General Hospital in Michigan.

Robert Smith, Jr., D.O., received his bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of Mississippi. He completed his medical training at the University of Health Sciences, and his internship at University Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association. He has served as general medical officer for the United States Navy Reserve and as director of the Department of Aerospace Medicine for the Naval Hospital in Rota, Spain. After 10 years of service in the United States Navy Reserve he retired with the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

Office Hours

Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Appointments

Appointments may be made by calling (662) 494-8500 during office hours. Appointments may be requested with the health care provider of your choice. Every effort will be made to provide the earliest possible appointment for the convenience of the patient. Due to the unscheduled nature of emergencies, occasional delays do occur. We hope you will understand these delays are unavoidable.

We accept walk-in patients. However, walk-in patients will be worked into the schedule as time permits.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel as far in advance as possible. Another patient who can be booked into the open time will be grateful for your thoughtfulness.
