A screening mammogram is used to detect breast cancer in women with no current breast problems. The test can detect cancer before it can be found by physician examination or other methods of diagnosis. Screening mammograms are available through self-referral.

The cost of a screening mammogram is $268. The results of the mammograms are read by NMMC radiologists, physicians who specialize in interpreting X-ray, ultrasound and other types of imaging studies.

For more information
or to schedule an appointment for a mammogram,
call the NMMC Breast Care Center at (662) 377-4910 or
