Medical Staff

David G. Booth, D.O.: Graduated from the Southeastern University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Miami, Fla. He completed his residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Booth is a board-certified family physician. In 2010, he received three-year recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)/American Diabetes Association (ADA) Diabetes Physician Recognition Program.

Jack Huffman, M.D.: Dr. Huffman spent seven years in the United States Air Force. He is a 1997 graduate of the nursing school at Mississippi University for Women and received his medical training at Ross University. Dr. Huffman completed his residency and was chief resident at Louisiana State University School of Medicine and has an engineering degree from Southern Illinois University. He is a member of the American Association of Family Practitioners.

Charles A. Ozborn, M.D.: A board-certified family physician, received his medical training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed his residency at Mississippi Baptist Hospital in Jackson. In 2010, Dr. Ozborn received three-year recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)/American Diabetes Association (ADA) Diabetes Physician Recognition Program.

Christy Vowell, D.O.: Graduated magna cum laude from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. She completed her medical training at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and her residency at North Mississippi Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Center. During her studies, she was the recipient of the KCUMB Primary Care Award and the Dr. Leonard Smith Scholarship.

Abigail Moss, CFNP: Earned an associate's degree in nursing from Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville. She earned a master's degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University in August 2003.

Office Hours

Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Appointments

Appointments may be made by calling (662) 258-7200 during office hours. Appointments may be requested with the health care provider of your choice. Every effort will be made to provide the earliest possible appointment for the convenience of the patient. Due to the unscheduled nature of emergencies, occasional delays do occur. We hope you will understand these delays are unavoidable.

We accept walk-in patients. However, walk-in patients will be worked into the schedule as time permits.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel as far in advance as possible. Another patient who can be booked into the open time will be grateful for your thoughtfulness.
