North Mississippi Medical Clinics, a regional network of physician offices, was established in 1990 and has since grown to include more than 30 primary and specialty care clinics with more than 100 physicians. From its earliest days, the clinic system has offered practicing and prospective physicians an innovative way to practice medicine. The arrangement is appealing to established physicians as well as those beginning their careers because they can devote more time to their patients while the clinic system manages the business side of their practice.

North Mississippi Medical Clinics, Inc. is affiliated with North Mississippi Medical Health Services, the area’s leading health care organization. The flagship hospital, North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, is the 2006 recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in the health care division. In addition, NMHS has community hospitals in Eupora, Iuka, Pontotoc and West Point, Miss., and Hamilton, Ala.
